Thursday night Concerts on the Lawn from June through August 2024.

Join us for a Torchlight Tour of the 1885 Courthouse attic on Saturday May 4, 2024.  The tour runs from 7:00 p.m.  to 8:30 p.m.

Each Father's Day weekend, the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce throws a festival in honor of our city. The Courthouse Square Museum hosts family-friendly events on its lawn that attracts visitors young and old to its entertainment, food, and crafts. CSA is excited to host The Festival of Oddities again AND we have added a day and location, the Charlotte Beach Market, to this event! Featuring a wide variety of strange and exciting events, you surely won't want to miss out. This event runs from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on August 31, 2024 and September 1st from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the 1885 Courthouse in downtown Charlotte. Join us at Charlotte Maple Hill Cemetery for the annual guided tour. This is a very informative and fun event, with a different theme each year!   There is a tour at 2:00 p.m. and the same tour again at 4:00 p.m.    The cost is your donation amount!  

Bring your family to the annual trick-or-treating "Almost Midnight Madness" from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. in downtown Charlotte! Then, continue to the 1885 Courthouse lawn!

Come to see the fun--scary CSA Haunted Courthouse on Friday & Saturday October 25th  & 26th Admission: $5.00 per person at the door to help maintain the Courthouse Museum.

Charlotte’s Christmas, November 30th, includes a downtown parade followed by the community tree lighting at the 1885 Courthouse lawn.  Come and see Santa and the Grinch and take a wagon ride to see some local home and yard decorations around the courthouse.   Enjoy holiday music, free to all.
