Charlotte Celebrates

Each Father's Day weekend, the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce throws a festival in honor of our city. The Courthouse Square Museum hosts family-friendly events on its lawn that attracts visitors young and old to its entertainment, food, and crafts. To participate in the festivities with a booth on the 1885 Courthouse lawn, please download this application. Email csamusuem@yahoo.com for a vendor application.

CSA History Camp

Eaton County’s Museum at Courthouse Square will host its History Day Camp the first full week in August for children ages 6-18. Using a real hands-on approach, campers will travel to different areas of the county to learn about local history. History Day Camp highlights from past years included making Shaker boxes (yes, real cherry wood boxes, no macaroni frames here!), visiting the Welch Museum in Sunfield, a Civil War Clothing Company, and canoeing in Eaton Rapids!
